Please check deviantART Points to get an idea how cheap points really are. Also, whether I accept them or not, depends on my mood. Right now (February 2012) I'm in the mood for cartoonish animals (Lion King, Farthing Wood, Balto,...) so assume I'm more likely to accept those rather than anime, for example. Note that going for a simple/recycled/gradient/no background will always come out cheaper than the price estimates below in cases of present backgrounds. This is about 9 hours of work (=$90), but I'm willing to do similar for $50; it will be nowhere below 5000 Points for a point commission. Around 1/4 of that price would go in a background this elaborate.  500 Points or $5.  Around 1200 Points or $12  Nowhere below 5000 Points or $50.  Around 3000 Points or $30.  From 1500 Points or $15 up without the background.  ...now if you offer me 500 Points for a 10 character commission, please know that all I will do with that, is laugh and dismiss with no further comment. I want to cover up the cat shit boxes. This for several good reasons: They be ugly. They be gross. They be tempting for possible canine family members.
I have here 2 designs:
This one is very long and all 4 boxes fit in a row. I wouldn't need to reach far because of that when I want to pull them out and clean them. But its long design takes up horizontal space.
This one would potrude farther into the room because of its almost square design. 2 rows of 2 boxes each, would fit in here. it leaves more surface space, however I would have to reach in deeper in order to access the back row of shit boxes, and the cats would also have to cross one row of boxes in order to access another.
Except for the length, the first is my favorite. But what do you think, and do you have any other suggestions?
Each design has a gap 20 cm high for the cats to slink inside. A dog would not be able to reach the shit boxes that way, and also the disgusting view would be obscured.
