Biography
| I was born in 1983 in Tel Aviv, Israel, grew up in Poland, Ireland, Germany and Belgium. I've travelled across half of the world, although due to lack of money, I'm currently bound to this horrible little village called Werchter. Artistically, I've always been "busy" swinging the pencil, eversince I was small. Until 1999 I've drawn almost exclusively animals, then in late 1999 I started drawing manga to the present day. Now, towards the end of 2007, I'm becoming more interested in realistic portraying of humans. I also love photography. To me, it's a way to capture a memory and keep it fresh forever which is why I go as far as to sneak into events with a fake journalist badge so I can take pictures, just for my personal pleasure. I've also tried some sculpting, animation, music mixing, video clipping and making clothes, but I guess 2dimensional art is my field. I'm currently studying script and direction at a film school so I can one day work with or for the man who returned my lost dream to me which is wrting stories, turning them into movies and acting in them: Yousuke Kubozuka. While drawing, I mostly listen to J-Rock and movie/anime soundtracks. Most of the music is kind of negative, hence the sometimes somewhat "emotionally creased" pictures. I like it dark and negative sometimes. My main inspiration is the music I listen to, scenes in movies and Yousuke, plus my alter-ego. As for commissions: being horribly slow when working for others, I think I should stop taking them. I hate making people wait. |
